HP16505A Prototype Analyzer Disk Images These images were made with: dd if=/dev/sdx of=./HP16505A_X.img conv=sync,noerror And should be resoted with: dd if=./HP16505A_X.img of=/dev/sdx The images are 2168642048 bytes or 4235629 blocks at 512 bytes per block. To copy an image back off of a larger disk use: dd if=/dev/sdx of=./HP16505A_X.img count=4235629 conv=sync,noerror The images were compressed with gzip to save storage space. HP16505A_0.img This is the original image from the first HP16505A. This is the cleanest and best image. HP16505A_1.img This is the original image from the second HP16505A. This image has some errors during boot but seemed to work correctly despite the errors. HP16505A_2.img This is the 0.img after an upgrade to version 1.40 software for the HP16505A. The only issue is that the "demo" password has already been used on all the optional tools once the update is applied. HP16505A_3.img This is the 1.img after an upgrade to version 1.40 software for the HP16505A. One issue is that the "demo" password has already been used on all the optional tools once the update is applied. The other issue is that there are still errors during boot related to the network and a date being out of the valid range. HP16505A_4.img This is the 0.img after enabling the demo of the optional tools and then upgrading to version 1.40 software for the HP16505A. In this image the demo tools are operational for the next 21 days (or ~500 hours without a clock battery) and with the latest software updates applied. This is now the preferred clean image to use for any future drive re-image.
